 or Ninilchik can have their boats launched by tractors which will actually drive into Cook Inlet with boats on trailers in order to launch. The future of the Anchor Point Boat Launch remains uncertain still as of 2011 it is for sale by the current owner/operators. Along with on-going legislation regarding halibut limits for Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet fishing charters. Decisions are being voted on to keep current limit of 2 halibut per sport fisherman, or to limit sport fishermen to one halibut per day. If the limit is changed to one fish per day for charters, there could be a dramatic effect on the charter industry.
