n lake to search for prehistoric samples. During this expedition, they are confronted with smugglers, which have their headquarters in the middle of the lake. Tamal, an orphan who was sold as a slave begs Skyler to save her. Since the child reminds her of her lost daughter Rebecca, she agrees, not knowing what dirty secret is lurking in the water. Strange things begin to happen and more and more people disappear to be devoured by an apparent creature from the deep.
