. She developed a passion for music when she began playing violin at the age of 2. As a teen, she moved to Kona, Hawaii to spend time with her grandfather, Bob Moreno. An established musician, Bob guided and encouraged her as she developed her piano, guitar, and vocal skills. Over the following years, she moved to Los Angeles and became both a successful artist and an accomplished songwriter.

Musical career

In 2008, Alissa’s debut album, “In Your Wake,” was released on her own label, Pi Records. It has already sold over 10,000 copies. Her first single, “Far From Here,” is playing on Hot A/C, AAA and college radio stations across the U.S. It was also licensed as the theme song for the Lifetime hit “Army Wives
