Ali Eraslan is a Turkish
producer, actor, playwright, screenwriter, singer, cameraman, editor, director and broadcaster.
After studying at the Journalism and Public Relations Faculty in Istanbul
, Eraslan worked in many lines of media and broadcasting industry. He became a producer for the record company WEA
in Istanbul when he was just 19.
Eraslan was the manager of Donusum and discovered Melih Kibar
, encouraging him to become a professional musician. Eraslan has also produced singles for Grafson, and Ilhan Sesen's debut single "Havada Bulut Yok/Dus Yollara Ali" which became a hit record in the Turkish charts when it was released in 1973. He was a founder of Timur Selçuk
's orchestra, and worked with Timur Selçuk as his manager during 1972-1976.
He has also published books and records for children, organised many concerts and theatre productions and was a professional actor. He has starred in TRT Radio Children's hour in 1963. In 1974 he appeared in the film Hababm Sinifi which became classic in Turkish cinema.
Eraslan dubbed many famous international and Turkish actors in films as voice over including dubbing John Travolta
's character in Grease

He moved to London
in 1980 and worked behind the camera for 12 years, recording commercials, clips, and travel documentaries. In 1992 in London he established a radio station "Number One FM". Other radio stations followed and between 1992-2000 he established many radio and TV stations in Turkey. He then moved back to London and re-established his film Production Company TVMDVD Productions and became producer and director of his own screen plays.
