Alex Hills Hotel

Alexandra Hills is also known for accommodating the popular McGuire's owned venue 'The Alexandra Hills Hotel' or colloquially known as simply 'The Alex'. The hotel is situated on the outer edges of Alexandra Hills almost bordering nearby suburbs Wellington Point and Cleveland. The appearance of the exterior can be described as looking akin to a large Queenslander style house whereas the interior retains the feel of a contemporary and cosmopolitan bar. The venue offers a wide variety of services to the community including function rooms, bar facilities, wedding receptions, accommodation, restaurant catering and nightclubbing experiences. Although it supplies these range of services to the people of Redlands it is more notriously known and predominantly used as a venue to consume alcohol. The hotel is also home to a weekend nightclub known as the 'Squeeze Club' or commonly as 'The Pit', the latter of the two is much more widely used. It is located on the top level of the Hotel and contains two bars, a large dancefloor, state of the art DJ booth and many lounge styled areas on the outskirts of the dance floor.
