 in 1996. This annual award is given every year at the International Student Academics Awards Ceremony to some of the top students at the university.

The individual colleges and departments nominate students based on academic excellence and outstanding contributions to the university. A plaque inscribed with the names of the award recipients is located in the University of Florida International Center
