Adam's non-fiction has appeared in the New York Times and he has made many appearances on radio and television programs, including NPR and A&E Channel's Breakfast with the Arts. His books are translated and in print around the world in places such as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Thailand, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, and generally throughout Europe. He has also worked as a book editor at Random House, as a college professor, and as an instructor of karate.
