automobile manufacturer established in 1901 by Ernest Zürcher and Herman Lüthi. The factory first manufactured motorcycle
engines.
In 1906, Zedel began producing automobiles (known as Zedels). By 1914 about 400 units had been produced.
In 1918, the company was taken over by Donnet
and became known as Donnet-Zédel.
