History

Zenith Windows was founded in 1969 by Barry Knights and Fred Slater, both previously employees of a rival window company. The first showroom was located on Aylsham Road in Norwich and the factory consisted of a large garage behind this premises. Early products were aluminium framed secondary glazed

In 1982, Zenith Windows was acquired by Bowater Home Improvements Ltd and became part of the building products division, maintaining the trading name Zenith Windows.

 window frames began in 1984, at a new manufacturing plant in Norwich opened by HRH The Princess Royal and by 1986 all aluminium frame production had ceased.

Bowater Home Improvements acquired Coventry

based Staybrite Windows in 1987, and the company consolidated brand names, forming Zenith Staybrite in that year.

In January 2008, Bowater Home Improvements went into administration, and the Zenith Staybrite brand was acquired by My House Group.
