. The Tokyo Metro station number is C-01. The station was opened as a stop on the Odakyū Odawara Line on April 1, 1927; Eidan (now Tokyo Metro) began service at the station on March 31, 1978.
Both lines share platforms at this station, as each line has through operation onto the other.

There is currently double-track construction begin performed along the Odawara Line between Yoyogi-Uehara and stations which is due to be completed by 2014.
