Xin Zhui was born in 100 BCE.

Her corpse was found in 1971 near the city of Changsha. Her skin was supple and soft. Marks from the cloth that was used are visible. Her limbs could be bent, her hair was still complete. Blood was found in her veins, and all her internal organs were intact.
