In April 2008 the band went into the studio to record four new tracks, one of them a cover of Megadeth's
"Wake Up Dead
." Their debut album was set for release by the end of the year with a tour in support of the album; the release date was later postponed to 2009, according to the band's Myspace page.
On 11 December 2008, Tim Yeung stated on Metal Messiah Radio that most of the World Under Blood album has been written and recorded and that they only need to write 3 more songs, which should be done after Tim has finished up the new Divine Heresy album in February 2009.
In late May 2009 World Under Blood signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Records
