Chilote) (born September 23, 1943 in Santiago, Dominican Republic) is a former Major League Baseball

who played for the California Angels
from 1968 to 1969, and again from 1972 to 1975. He also played one season in Japan for the Taiheiyo Club Lions in 1976.
Llenas signed with the Kansas City Athletics
as an amateur free agent before the 1961 season, then was released by them on June 16, 1962. He had played in 153 games for the A's organization in the Sophomore League
and the Florida State League
, batting .232 and committing 60 errors
. About 5½ months later, at age 19, he signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Angels. (December 2, 1962)
As Llenas grew older, he became an excellent minor league
hitter. He made his major league debut on August 15, 1968 against the Washington Senators
