Landmarks

The main attraction in Wilthorpe is the park, with stunning rose gardens, a reclaimed wildlife area, and a playground.
The Emmanuel Church serves this particular area of west Barnsley, built in the late 90's. It also serves as a village hall with several events and clubs held there every week
Tinkers Pond is situated at the bottom of Woodstock Road. This fishing spot used to be a mine shaft and is reported to be at least 500 ft deep in the centre.
