Wild Rose Brewery

Wild Rose Brewery, the "Pint-Sized Beer Company", is a micro brewery located in Calgary, Alberta. Primary production is of four preservative-free beers. The brewery recently moved from 1 litre packaging to six packs, and can be found in draught form in many Calgary area pubs and bars. Smaller batch beers are also produced for seasonal distribution.

 flavour, uses actual berries and no syrups or extracts. Their more well-known brews include Wraspberry Ale, Velvet Fog, IPA, and Wild Rose Brown Ale. The brewery is capable of producing 100,000 bottles a week and they sell about 850,000 litres of beer in a year

Location

The brewery moved from its original location in the Foothills Industrial Park to the Currie Barracks

 in the fall of 2006. The Tap Room also opened at this site in 2007. The Tap Room is a full service restaurant and bar, and is highly rated on social media websites. Despite the nearby Calgary Farmers' Market moving out of the barracks, the brewery does not plan to move.

Accolades

Wild Rose's Cherry Porter was been regonized as top beer by several books including 1001 Beers You Must Taste Before You Die and World's Best Beers: One Thousand Craft Brews from Cask to Glass

It was also the only Alberta brewery to be recognized at the 2008 Canadian Brewing Awards, winner two silver medals for its wheat beer (Velvet Fog) and its barley wine.
