s and go to Jackson's gang. When the two gangs meet, Jackson sings the beginning of the song while Zadora's gang drives off, to later meet again in a bar. The two gangs disappear from the bar, then Zadora and Jackson take refuge near the place where there is to be a real battle between the gangs. Afterwards, Jackson and Zadora again flee from both gangs, but are caught together in the woods. After a big brawl at the end Zadora's gang fled on their motorcycles. Bob Giraldi

Charts performances

The song had a great success in France, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Germany, where it topped the singles charts in those countries.

In France, the single appeared on the chart from the beginning of this one, on November 4, 1984, at #30. It reached the top five five weeks later and was number one for three unsuccessive weeks. It stayed on the chart (Top 50) for a total of 27 weeks, including 18 weeks in the Top ten. The song was certified Platinum disc by the SNEP for 1,017,000 units sold and is the 87th best-selling single of all time in that country.

In Switzerland, the single remained on the chart from November 11, 1984 to February 17, 1985 (14 weeks), debuting at #8 and peaking at #1 two weeks after and for five weeks. After that, it kept on dropping on the chart.

In Austria, the single entered the Top Singles on December 15, 1984 at number 7 before climbing to #2, its highest position. It disappeared from the chart on April 1, 1985.

The song failed to have significiant impact on various charts in the US, peaking relatively low on the pop singles
