Additionally, on February 26, 2009, Webtrekk received a €1 Million Venture Capital Investment from Corporate Finance Partners as the winners of a Zanox sponsored Publisher Initiative Contest. Sauer stated that they will use the cash infusion to enhance the functionality of their analytics capabilities as well as to expand internationally.

Founders Background

Christian Sauer was born 1974 in Braunschweig. He studied Business Administration at the Universität St. Gallen until 1999 and gained experience in banking and consulting in Mexico, the USA and Switzerland. In 2000, Christopher Schering and other partners founded KinderCampus AG where he served on the board of directors until 2002. Since 2003 he is the managing partner of Cobra Youth Communications GmbH, which, with over 35 employees, is a full-service agency for child and youth communication in the German-speaking world.

He is also the founder and managing partner of Webtrekk GmbH since 2003.
