The Spirit of Waxahachie Indian Band

Directors: Rich Armstrong, Director of Bands, and Reggie Cook, Associate Director of Bands and Percussion Specialist.

The Waxahachie High School marching band is the largest organization on campus and maintains a high standard of excellence among its members. For over 20 years, the band has received numerous awards both locally and around the nation. Most recently, the band competed in the 2009 4A UIL State Contest and placed 8th in finals with their show "A Kinetic Mind". The Waxahachie band also has an award-winning jazz band known around the state for its outstanding performances and wins.
