In February 2011 67% of voters approved a $20 million bond to construct a new high school. The state is to provide an additional $23 million. The project will renovate or largely replace the existing high school, first constructed in the late 1950's. The project is planned to commence construction by 2012 and be completed in several phases by the 2014-2015 school year. Architects were selected in the summer of 2011.
