Walbottle Campus Technology College

The Walbottle Campus opened in 1959 as the following three schools; Walbottle East, Walbottle West and Walbottle Grammar. They were officially opened in 1960. Several years later, the three schools were merged into Walbottle Campus Technology College (Its Current Format). The school is a State Secondary School in Newcastle upon Tyne

. In 2008 a new building opened replacing the former three building campus. It operates under the Newcastle LEA Two Tier system and most pupils come from several local feeder primary schools.
The school has 12 dedicated bus routes. All but the 138 (which only operates 1 hour after all other buses on Monday - Thursday afternoons), operate both morning and afternoon.

Location
Walbottle Campus Technology College is located in Walbottle Village on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne.
