The Wagholi used to be referred to as Sammat in the names of other villages because in history of marathas Sammat word denotes Sarkar or Pargana. The eldest village of Bhoite named Tadawale termed to be Tadawale Sammat Wagholi i.e. Tadawale under Pargana Wagholi.
