History

WSAT was Salisbury's second radio station, signing on in 1948. Harry Welch, Sr. took over as general manager in 1953, and for nearly 50 years WSAT was run by someone from the Welch family. It was once known as "The Family Station". Past personalities include Grady Cole, Russ McIntyre, and Bob Mason

Former WSAT personality Buddy Poole bought the station in 2002 and changed the station to the current format. For four years, the station used the Memories
