WGFS has applied to the Federal Communications Commission

The daytime and nighttime signal patterns will change to two different directional antenna patterns. This change will allow sister station WATB (AM) located in Decatur, Georgia
to move from its present 1420 kHz operating frequency to 1430 kHz vacated by WGFS. The move of WATB (AM) to 1430 kHz will allow it to substantially increase its daytime power to 50,000 watts.
