History
On February 22, 1985 it signed on as WADU with an adult contemporary format targeting the western suburbs of New Orleans. It became a Spanish contemporary outlet with the WFNO call letters on March 25, 1996.Programming
Shows include El Vacilón de la Mañana, with Nasty and Potris two known DJs and morning hosts. El Vacilón is a drive time show, with local and international news (CNN en Español Radio), music, traffic, call ins, contests, etc. Mid day music show is hosted by José Hidalgo featuring select music followed Sports with Emilio Peralta and Marco Antonio, afternoon drive time shows, evening sports (connection with Fútbol de Primera with Andrés Cantor.
