Vision Valor Victory (vVv) Gaming

Vision Valor Victory Gaming, or simply “vVv Gaming” is a professional gaming organization based in Chicago, Illinois. The organization began competing on the Gears of War
title, and today vVv supports teams and players in a dozen different titles on both PC and console, as well as players from over 12 nations across the world, as well as contributing articles to the Chicago Tribune
's Geek To Me blog and producing The Loser's Bracket podcast.

Major League Gaming

In 2008, the Gears of War teams continued to place successfully on the MLG circuit, and vVv also opened a Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 division with vVv ReWritten, the only team to win back-to-back MLG events in Vegas 2. The year ended with several vVv teams finishing top ten at MLG Toronto
, including vVv Destiny which finished 9th. vVv Enmity, the captain of vVv Destiny, was named vVv Gaming's North American Player of the Year in 2008.
In 2009, the competitive circuit replaced Gears of War with the sequel: Gears of War 2
. vVv Destiny transitioned to the new title and continued to compete, placing 7th in the first two events of the year, MLG Meadowlands and MLG Columbus
, defeating teams like Prophecy. The organization’s second team: vVv Less Than Zero, also finished top ten at MLG Columbus, placing 9th and 3rd at MLG Dallas. vVv Destiny also appeared at the World Cyber Games for the North American Gears of War 2 competition. During this time, vVv also continued its growth in competitive gaming by expanding into PC
gaming and picking up teams in numerous titles across multiple consoles. vVv Gaming also began publishing articles in the Chicago Tribune
’s “Geek to Me” blog, covering gaming topics such as getting to know gamers and tips on how to become a professional gamer.
Throughout the year, vVv Gaming continued its dominance in other genres. Players like vVv Smokyprogg rank high in Guitar Hero scores on scorehero.com, while vVv MrsViolence and vVv michs09 starred on the SyFy
series WCG Ultimate Gamer

In January 2010 vVv began an e-sports podcast called “The Losers Bracket.” The podcast is hosted by members of vVv Gaming, and covers topics regarding competitive gaming and the gaming community.
In 2011 vVv created a new division which supports gamers with Disabilities. The division is run by one of the top disabled StarCraft 2 players in North America: vVv Spectral who is a paralyzed quadriplegic gamer.
