Vilho Henrik Lampi was a Finnish

Lampi was born in Oulu
but lived the most of his life in Liminka. He studied in The Finnish Art Academy School
1921–1925 and after finishing his studies he returned to his hometown Liminka where he lived the rest of his life and painted his most famous works.
Lampi committed suicide March 17, 1936 by jumping from a bridge to Oulujoki
while visiting in Oulu.
