Vert skateboarding is a term used to refer to riding a skateboard

 on a vertical ramp that is a larger version of a halfpipe. Many people use vert ramps in trick skateboarding as well as vert skateboarding. Skateboarders on vertical ramps often perform lip tricks, grab tricks, and other types of tricks on a vert ramp, some of which wouldn't be possible without a vert ramp.

Vert skateboarding is used in lots of competitions. The locale of such competitions can range from regional skate parks
