Vehicle registration plates of Estonia are composed of three numbers and three letters (e.g. 123 ABC). The registration plates are coloured black letters on a white background, and are the same size and length as other European plates. The first of the three letters indicates the region of Estonia

History

The first Estonian registration plates (1991) were composed of three numbers and three letters and needed licence labels in the middle of the plate. The labels were dropped in 2004.
