It was formed by UP Housing and Development Authority in the late 1990s.
Today the place is reputed as being the biggest residential cum commercial hub in Delhi NCR,due to its own infrastructure as well as the surrounding places of Kaushambi, Vaishali,Indirapuram and the excellent connectivy to New Delhi and Noida.

Located on upper link road of Trans-Hindon Ghaziabad,this 1000 acre township is well connected to New Delhi via Wazirabad road and Anand Vihar ISBT just a 10 minute drive.

Vasundhara has wide roads,lush green road dividers, police station and numerous hospitals.The city houses commercial hubs such as The Sunrise mall, City Mall, Galaxy Cinemas, Aerons Europark, Reliable City Centre etc. It is divided in 19 sectors and some sectors like sec. 7 and 8 are still under development.
Vasundhara has numerous food outlets like MacDonald, Nathu's Sweets, PHD and Dominos. Olive County is the largest residential building in Sector-5.
