The village has a number of community facilities and businesses that serve the local area: the Church of England
Primary School, the Village Stores shop and post office, the Plough Inn pub, a newly-constructed village hall situated next to the playing fields, and Upper Boddington church. Recently opened is the Village Garagehttp://thevillagegarage.co.uk/, specialising in classic cars as well as general car repairs and MoT testing. Also situated within the garage facility is a photographic studio called Imexahttp://www.imexa.co.uk/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/, and a web design company called Gate24. Upper Boddington is also home to successful motor racing team, Team GCR http://teamgcr.co.uk/ which in 2009 fielded a car in the FIA European GT4 Championship.
