He followed that up with progeny earnings of $5,184,194 in 2009 and is currently the leading sire of 2010 with earnings in excess of $2.8 million. Unusual Heat has also been the leading turf sire in California by earnings an astonishing 6 times in a row (2004–2009) and is the current year leader as well(as of 8/9/2010).
