from 1998 to 2001. The film stars Ito Hideaki as Japan Coast Guard
(JCG) rescue diver Senzaki Daisuke, and Kato Ai as his love interest Izawa Kanna. The film Umizaru 3 is now in production and is expected to be released in 2010.
