in 2004, it is unclear why he released this single under the original Microphones moniker. At recent shows, Phil had debuted these singles without specifying whether or not they were to be considered by Mount Eerie or The Microphones.

The A-side is "Don't Smoke" and the B-side is "Get Off the Internet"

The songs feature Elverum's distinctive guitars, organs, and distorted drums. There is also an underlying theme of the benefits of a healthier life, working manual labor, getting off the Internet, and, of course, not smoking.
