General elections were held in Tunisia
in November 1964 to elect a President and Chamber of Deputies
. At the time the country was a one-party state with the Socialist Destourian Party
(PSD) was the sole legal party. In the presidential election, incumbent Habib Bourguiba
, was the only candidate, and was re-elected unopposed. In the Chamber election, the PSD won all 90 seats. Voter turnout was 96.8%.
