In 1985, Juninho Bill joined the band, and Trem da Alegria recorded its first album with special participation including Lucinha Lins ("Dona Felicidade") and The Fevers ("Uni, Duni, Te").

Peak

In 1986, Vanessa joined the band, and Trem da Alegria recorded its second album musics with mandatory themes of children's parties, such as "He-Man and "Fera Neném"(including Evandro Mesquita doing a duet with Juninho Bill).

In 1987, Patricia left the band, entering solo, so the Trem released your third album with the hits "Thundercats", "Piuí Abacaxi" and "Orquestra dos Bichos".

One year later, in 1988, Amanda Acosta joined the band."Pique-pega esconde-esconde"(in the Vanessa and Luciano's voice) and "Pra Ver se Cola"(Juninho and Amanda's voice) made very success.In the same year, Luciano and Vanessa left the band because of adolescence.Shortly thereafter, the fourth album was released.

Decline

In 1989, Rubinho joined the band.But in the same year, the band scored only two hits: "Jaspion-Changeman" and "Pula Corda".With this, the Trem da Alegria see your success fading slowly.This year marked the debut of Trem of the film "A Princesa Xuxa e Os Trapalhões".

The album of 1990 can be considered one of the weakest. The band tried to enter the success of the Lambada, with the hits "Lambada da Alegria" and "Lambada Danada". That same year, the band visited Angola and Portugal in an international tour.

In 1991, the band promoted by former Rádio Cidade, a contest to choose a new member, given that Juninho Bill was already 14 years old and are probably going to leave the Trem. But the record does not allow him to leave.The 10.000 entries were chosen from Rick Bueno.Thus the formation of 1991 had three boys and scored two hits: O Lobisomem and Tataruga Ninja.But times were different and the genre had been pampered child into the background.

In 1992, without Rick and becoming the members adults, the band scored considerable success, the music "Alguém no Céu", that was part of the soundtrack of the novel De Corpo e Alma and released their last album.At end of the year, the band is closed.

Trem Legacy

Despite the termination of the band, of many of this songs are played at various birthday parties for children up to the present day.

In 1999, Focus comes with a collection of the major achievements of Trem da Alegria.

New training

In an attempt to regain the market for children's bands, the band was recreated in 2002.The new training released 2 CDs, one with a few new song, and a CD-Video recordings of other artists, and they have been in season at the Teatro Gazeta, in São Paulo, with they called a Pocket Show.The attempt to revive the band did not last more than two years.
