Tosoh Corporation is divided into 8 business divisions that are organized in 3 groups; Petrochemical, Basic, and Specialty. A fourth Group, "Service" operations primarily comprises logistics, construction, engineering support, and related services. Petrochemical Group Divisions: Olefins Polymers

Products made from petrochemicals are found in every aspect of human activity, from basic industries to sophisticated service companies to personal recreation. Companies that supply this unfathomable variety of goods, increasingly use Tosoh basic chemicals and compounds to create new approaches and new products that make people's live fuller and richer.
Petrochemicals from Tosoh are used for such essentials as medicine and clothing, as well as TV and radio components, automobile parts, building materials, paints, and a wide number of other applications. Basic Group Divisions: Chlor-alkali Cement

Tosoh is a key supplier of fundamental chemicals such as caustic soda, calcium hypochloride, and sodium bicarbonate, which are used in applications that range from swimming-pool disinfectants, to food products and pharmaceuticals. As Japan's largest producer of caustic soda, Tosoh uses its process technologies to take advantage of economies of scale which realizes a competitive advantage that can be passed on to customers.
