Pavlov played six months for the reserve squad of CSKA, before moving to Minyor Pernik in January 2010.

In January 2010 Pavlov was invited by Minyor Pernik to join for a trial period. He made his team debut a few days later in an 1–0 friendly win against Pirin Gotse Delchev
