Thunder, Lightning, Strike is the debut album by The Go! Team
. It was released on British label Memphis Industries
in 2004
and was nominated for the 2005 Mercury Music Prize.
The album was re-released in the U.S. and UK by Columbia Records
in October 2005. It was slightly remixed (due to sample clearance issues) and contains bonus tracks. It peaked at #48 in the UK in February 2006, some 18 months after its original release. It was co-produced by Ian's brother, Gareth Parton in their parent's garage in Swansea and mixed at The Fortress Studios, London.
