It's more than just a clever play on words (although it is that too); the East Coast Fall Out Tour is The Supervillains' dedication to taking touring back to where it all began for them - to the Atlantic Coast. "We're all pumped for the East Coast Fall Out Tour because we haven't spent much time over here and it's high time these folks got some love," states Dom Maresco, the charismatic lead singer and drummer for The Supervillains. He addresses the naming of the tour simply as “an east coast tour taking place during the fall and we're gonna party until we fall out".
The East Coast Fall Out Tour is a non-stop, two and a half week journey back to their roots and begins on October 27, 2011 in charleston, SC and ends back home in Orlando, FL on November 13, 2011 at the Orlando Calling Music Festival. The Supervillains strategically selected artists to join them whose sound would complement their own unique rock infused reggae sound and would match the overall vibe of the tour. In doing so, they recruited a fellow east coast band, The Movement, to bring their signature hip hop flavored reggae/rock and infectious energy to the stage. Having gained a buzz with Supervillains fans this past summer, DP will reprise his role as their special guest and round out a solid line-up of talented artists across multiple genres.
The East Coast Fall Out Tour is as much about the party as it has always been on Villains' tours past; however this marks an especially high note in their career as they embark on their most sizable venture yet - their own record label, Rah Rah Rah Records. "We're currently building a multi-genre roster of top notch bands from all over the country. We’re very excited," states Maresco on the launch of Rah Rah Rah Records. The Supervillains' East Coast Fall Out Tour is in direct support of the label's first album release - their own! POSTCARDS FROM PARADISE is The Supervillains fifth full-length album and is tracking to be their most successful to date. Its performance on the reggae charts has been remarkable, debuting at #1 on Amazon and #3 on iTunes.
The East Coast Fall Out Tour is the perfect platform for The Supervillains to promote their new album on their new label. With so much new happening for the band, it's nice to have something familiar to remind fans why they fell in love with the fun-loving foursome to being with and that can be found in Dom's closing statement, "Come on out and have a couple too many with us!".
