Environmental

London’s major festivals implemented a greening plan and in 2010 cut waste by 50% with the aid of London’s Greening of the Festivals committee and the City of London. Three years prior when the greening plan was started, the waste was cut by 5%. The success of this plan is mainly due to the introduction of Eco-Stations (a system of discarding waste, recyclables, and compost into separate bins).
