s of songs. They began in 1994 as Turn Up The Music, Inc. and formerly had two labels — Drew's Famous Party Music and DJ's Choice — which were consolidated under the name Drew's Famous. Song performances are usually credited to The Hit Crew, a name used by the company for their revolving group of session musicians.

Drew's claims over 4,000 musical recordings and sales of "almost 30 million". Allmusic has commented that "Drew and his Hit Crew brag about unleashing 250 new titles each year, but that's not necessarily a good thing when the recordings often sound cheaply made with barely competent musicians." Their albums have also been panned by iTunes Store

The Hit Crew albums are not usually artist "tributes" but programmed around a theme to be used at a party, theoretically allowing the host to play one album without having to create their own mix CD or act as a DJ. The band receives virtually no credit on albums, unlike Countdown Singers or Stars at Studio 99.

Drew's has also expanded into selling party products and other novelty items, and the company's own website notes that it has been declared "Vendor of the Year" by several retailers, including Spencer Gifts, Paper Warehouse, and Party City
