 directed by Byun Seung-Wook. The film is set in Winter in South Korea, winter, where So-yeon (Park Min-yeong) works at a small pet-grooming shop called Kitty N Puppy. So-yeon sufferers from claustrophobia and starts having apparitions of a ghostly young girl with cat-like eyes (Kim Ye-ron).

Release

The Cat premiered in South Korea on July 7, 2011. On it's opening week, it grossed $2,048,882 in South Korea placing it at second place at the weekend box office. It grossed a total of $4,514,589 in South Korea and $4,461,042 with it's foreign markets.
