Plot

Starts out with Hank spying on turkey

s, later on Hank goes with Slim and High Loper to check the mail, Hank then tries to figure out what IRS means. Later on Hank tries to get scraps and Pete the local cat

 tries to trick Hank into the giving him the food. Later on one of Hank's bones disappears. Later on Hank asks Drover if he knows where his bone, Drover says that a bone monster took it. Later on Hank tries digging through Sally May's garden, and he swears he saw the monster and describes it to Drover. Later on a truck comes up the road and in the back is the basset hound

disguised as a beagle who is Miss Scampers. Later on Ralph goes back to normal and something scares the three dogs and sends them into hiding, they saw its the night-stalking bone monster. Hank and Ralph hide under a gunny sack, and Drover keeps watch. Drover tricks them into thinking that the monster is all around them. They then all go running, and they see yellow eyes all around them, they say that it smells like sausage. The next morning Hank finds Slim eating sausage, the book then ends.yep
