television network and first aired in November 2002.
finds out about this and, to boost sagging approval ratings, invites the Bradys to the White House as reward for their honesty. Soon afterward, the President of the United States
abandons his post, thus leaving his staff to come up with a wholesome, all-American replacement: the Bradys. Mike is appointed as President; Carol, in addition to being the First Lady
, becomes the first female Vice President; and the new "First Family" moves into the White House
. Along the way, a giant asteroid is heading for Earth. Greg has a fling with Veronica, and writes her a song (small excerpt) "Veronica, Veronica, Veronica, Veronica, Veronica, Veronica, Veronica, Veronica."
While the political party affiliation of the fictional First Family is never mentioned, several bits of dialogue in the film seem to suggest that the Bradys are Republicans
and that Mike supports several of the domestic policies of President George W. Bush
.
Several more TV-movies were planned, including A Very Brady Shipwreck in which the Bradys land on Gilligan's Island
(it was suggested in the first sequel that Carol's first husband was the Professor), among others. Due to low ratings, all future plans were scrapped.
