It represents only a small portion of the Anishinaabe's Nindakiiminan ("our land"; locally synocped as Ndakiimnan or "n'daki menan"), which includes ten thousand square kilometers of land in the area. The Band Council of Temagami First Nation is Chief Roxanne Ayotte, 2nd Chief John McKenzie, Councillor Arnold Paul, Councillor Jamie Saville, Councillor Marty Pridham and Councillor Steven Laronde.
Maple Mountain in Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park
