, which Languiller won and has represented since. In 2002 he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Community Services, and he has been an Acting Speaker since 2004. In 2006 he moved to the Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs position, and then to Human Services in 2007.

Languiller does not live in the Derrimut area he represents, instead he resides in Albert Park. On the 20th May 2010 he attended Sunshine Police Station in relation to allegations by his former staff member Costas Socroutas that Languiller was involved in branch stacking and money laundering in order to raise funds to pay the memberships of members falsely enrolled in the Labor party.
