After the release of Riot!, Paramore released a live album, The Final Riot. While Taylor plays on this record, and is also credited as a member of the band.

In June 2009, Taylor was officially acknowledged by Paramore as a rhythm/lead guitarist and took part in writing on their album Brand New Eyes

His brother, Justin York, temporarily filled in for Josh Farro as lead guitar during Paramore's Pacific Tour and their South American Tour, and their run on the 2011 Warped Tour. It has been stated by the bands singer Hayley Williams that he is with them for all of their future shows.
