Joshua Neil Farro is an American

guitarist and songwriter, and the lead guitarist of the band Novel American
. He is best known as the former lead guitarist and backing vocalist
of the alternative rock
band Paramore
. He is also the older brother of Paramore's former drummer, Zac Farro
.

In an interview with MTV, Farro said that after watching Paramore: The Last Word interviews, he simply disagreed with the band on a lot of things but wishes them the best for the future and only wants to move on for the sake of their fans.

would replace Tyler Ward on drums.

Many rumors hold that this may have been a reason for tour dates being canceled, but it has never been confirmed. The reason of their break up also has not been revealed.
On April 3, 2010 Farro married fiancee Jenna Rice in Tennessee, missing the Paramore
's Pacific Rim tour to plan the nuptials.
