The film was released on October 24, 2006 (Pakistan), Eid-ul-Fittar. This is a big-budget film (by local standards at least) shot in beautiful locations in both Dubai and Pakistan was a hit, but flop in Lahore. The film was hyped enough by local media due to the budget.
