Taghi Arani, , He immigrated to Tehran
with his family when he has 4 years old. On 1920 he has been graduated from Dar ul-Funun School in Tehran then he pursued his studies in Chemical Science in Germany. After finishing his studies he came back to Iran on 1928. Within his studies in Germany he started to take part in political studies as well. When he came back to Iran he start to publish Donya Magazine (The World) magazine and for first time in Iranian literature history he developed a scientific discussion on philosophic and social subjects in Donya. Many people consider Donya as his most dominant contribution. On 1937 he and 53 other of his colleagues have been captured with a claim of communist activities and he died (or as claimed by many, killed) in jail on February 1940.
For a long time many people believed that he is the founder of Tudeh party (previously major Iranian communist party). However this claim was rejected by many others.
